In Tashkent, a woman was arrested for fraudulently obtaining loans in the names of over 80 citizens

Reportedly, a 40-year-old woman in Tashkent fraudulently acquired goods on credit, using the identities of 83 individuals. This information was disclosed in the "Millar" program.

It is stated that the woman collaborated in her illegal activities with two co-defendants born in 1995 and 1996. Court records reveal that the woman has a history of 12 previous convictions.

The defendant confessed, saying, "I obtained loans in the names of citizens. I acknowledge my wrongdoing."

As per the court ruling, the woman was found guilty under Article 168 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code, Part 3, Clause "v". She was sentenced to 5 years and 2 months in prison, with a partial suspension of the remaining sentence imposed by the Chilonzor district court on December 26, 2023. Each co-defendant received a sentence of 5 years and 6 months.
