Truck collision in Tashkent claims a driver’s life

On November 26, a fatal collision between two trucks occurred in Tashkent, resulting in the death of one of the drivers at the scene. The incident was reported by the Traffic Safety Department of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Directorate.

The accident happened at 20:30 near the turnoff in front of the Kazakhstan Carpet Store on 4R21 Street in the Yangihayot District. A truck driven by Q.A., born in 1982, collided with an Isuzu truck driven by I.Q., born in 1987.

Tragically, the driver of the Isuzu truck did not survive.

The Investigation Department has launched a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan, which pertains to violations of safe driving or vehicle usage rules. A preliminary investigation is underway.

This incident follows another recent traffic accident in Tashkent involving Zeekr and Onix vehicles, where emergency medical assistance was required for a passenger of the Onix.
