A 15-year-old boy was hit by a train in Tashkent, according to Hayat Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the General Prosecutor's Office, who reported the incident to QALAMPIR.UZ.

The incident occurred on October 23 at 5:52 PM when the Tashkent region Railway Transport Administration received a notification of an unknown train striking a person between the Nurhayot and Salar railway stations, specifically at the 7th barrier. This report came through service 102 of the MDIA of Tashkent city.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the boy, who hailed from Kashkadarya, was struck by a passenger train operating on the "Tashkent-Khojakent" route while riding his bicycle at a passenger crossing of the railway.

He was promptly transported by ambulance to City Clinical Hospital No. 7 in the Yunusabad District and was later transferred on October 24 to the "Children's Department" of the Republican Emergency Medical Center for further treatment.

This incident follows another tragic railway accident on October 5, when a railway employee passed away after being struck by a train in the Yangi Hayot district of Tashkent. The employee, born in 1988 and working as a railway conductor, was connecting freight wagons to a locomotive when he accidentally fell onto the tracks and was run over by the freight cars. Despite the arrival of officials and medical personnel, he died at the scene.
