Substation catches fire in Tashkent (video)

A fire broke out at a substation in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent on April 11. The incident was reported by the Tashkent City Department of Emergency Situations.

According to the report, the fire occurred at around 13:20 on Mavlona Riyazi Street. Emergency responders arrived at the scene by 13:27, and the fire was fully extinguished by 13:41.

It was determined that transformer cables in the substation area were damaged in the fire.

“There were no injuries or fatalities. The cause of the fire and the extent of material damage are currently under investigation,” the department noted.

It is worth recalling that a similar incident occurred earlier when a shop caught fire in the Almazar district of Tashkent.
