News spread on social networks that a person who worked as an assistant mayor in one of the districts of Mirzo Ulugbek District of Tashkent beat his mother. To clarify the situation, QALAMPIR.UZ contacted Nilufar Isakhonova, Head of the Information Service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent city.
According to Isakhonova, 65-year-old M.I. sustained various injuries. A criminal case was initiated under Article 105 of the Criminal Code (Intentionally inflicting moderate serious bodily injury) by the Investigation Department of the district DIA. Additionally, to determine the severity of the physical injuries and the mental state of the victim, a medical and psychiatric examination was ordered. An investigation is currently underway.
The person who injured the woman was her own son, who has already submitted a resignation letter.
