13442On May 8th, demonstrations of military units from the Ministry of Defense will march through the main streets of Tashkent to honor veterans of war and frontline workers who contributed to the victory in World War II, as announced by the ministry's press service.
The Ministry has announced plans for a large-scale parade in Tashkent on May 8th, marking the Day of Remembrance and Appreciation. The parade aims to showcase the dedication of the country's defenders to the Motherland and foster pride among the population, particularly the youth.
It is noted that "Galaba Bogi" memorial complex (via Sagbon and Zarqaynar streets) - State Nature Museum of Uzbekistan - Chorsu market - Tashkent circus (Zarqaynar street) - "Xalqlar dostligi (Friendship of Peoples)" art palace (Uzbekistan shoh street and Furqat street) - " At the stop point of the "Magic City" square (Furqat street) of the military units moving along the direction of the "Magic City" square, demonstrations of the Honor Guard team and masters of hand-to-hand combat, the battle call of the units, and the defile performances of the military orchestra will be performed.
The ceremonial marches of military units will commence at 14:00 on May 8th from the "Victory Park" memorial complex.
It's worth noting that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan will also attend the Victory Parade in Moscow on May 8th-9th.
