Deputy governor is appointed in Tashkent region

Abdurasul Nematovich Abdullayev has been appointed as the First Deputy Governor of the Tashkent region, serving under Governor Zoyir Mirzayev. This announcement was made today, August 12, during the extraordinary 86th session of the Ohangaron District Council of People's Deputies.

Prior to this appointment, Abdullayev had been serving as the Governor of the Ohangaron district since September 2020.

For background information, Abdurasul Abdullayev was born in the Kitab district of the Kashkadarya region in 1968. He graduated from the Tashkent Institute of National Economy in 1991.

Throughout his career, he has held various positions within the banking system. Notably, he served as the Head of the Main Department of the Central Bank in the Samarkand region, the Chairman of the Board of "Ipotekabank" ATIB, and the Chairman of the Board of "Uzsanoatqurilishbank" OJSC. In 2014, he assumed the role of Chairman of the Board of the joint-stock commercial "People's Bank" of Uzbekistan. In 2019, he held the position of Deputy Chairman of the State Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Development Committee and also served as the Director of the "Uzbekchorvanasl" agency.

It is important to note that on August 12, Erkin Madorbekovich Muhiddinov was appointed as the new Governor of the Ohangaron district, succeeding Abdurasul Abdullayev.
