Road in Tashkent temporarily closed

Kumaryk Street in the Sergeli district of Tashkent will be closed for 20 days due to the replacement of part of the heating network. This was reported by Veolia Energy Tashkent.

As part of preparations for the 2025–2026 autumn-winter season, a total of 1,000 meters of heating pipelines with a diameter of 325 millimeters will be replaced on Kumaryk Street. The work will be carried out by the contracting organization from September 10 to 30, during which time the section of the road will remain closed.

During the construction period, access will be provided for cargo services, the Aviation Security Service, airport employees, emergency and rescue teams, and residents of nearby houses.

It is worth noting that earlier, vehicle traffic was also temporarily restricted on part of Shota Rustaveli Street in Tashkent due to construction and repair work.
