Another deputy has been appointed to the position of mayor in Tashkent

Shahnoza Abduvohidovna Sultonova has been named deputy mayor of Tashkent, taking charge of the Department of Family and Women. This information comes from the city administration's press service.

Reportedly, Nodira Nigmatullayevna Umarova, who previously held this position, has been relieved of her duties due to her relocation to another role.

Shahnoza Sultonova, the newly appointed official, previously served as the executive director of the Belarus-Uzbekistan Joint Interdisciplinary Practical Technical Qualification Institute in Tashkent.

To provide context, Shahnoza Sultonova, born in 1982 in Tashkent, holds a higher education degree. She graduated from Tashkent State Agrarian University in 2003 and has occupied several significant positions at Tashkent State Technical University over the years.

It's worth mentioning that earlier, Durdona Rahimova was appointed as the deputy mayor of Tashkent, focusing on youth policy, social development, and spiritual and educational affairs.
