Cleaning the system from malicious individuals is the focal point of our attention - Polat Bobojonov

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant General, made an appeal to the population. The text of the appeal was published in "New Uzbekistan."
"In the new Uzbekistan, the noble idea of 'For human dignity' has become the primary focus of our state's policy. In this historical situation where human dignity is esteemed, the responsibility of all of us to ensure peace and tranquility in our villages and neighborhoods is increasing," stated the Minister of Internal Affairs as he commenced his speech.

According to Bobojonov, the approaches to combating crime, exposing, and early prevention of socially dangerous acts have undergone fundamental changes in the ongoing reform of the internal affairs bodies.

"The introduction of a new method for analyzing crime and evaluating employee performance based on the quality and competence of their duties allows us to significantly enhance the quality and substance of our work. Today, every manager and employee within the internal affairs system isn't focused on numbers and percentages, but rather on prioritizing the protection of citizens' rights in their daily service activities," the appeal reads.

Lieutenant General Bobojonov also pointed out that on July 28 of this year in Fergana city, at the extended meeting of the Ministry of Internal Affairs board chaired by Shavkat Mirziyoev, the system was meticulously analyzed, and the issues to be resolved were clearly identified.

Simultaneously, Bobojonov noted a profound shift in the system's emphasis on spiritual and moral matters. He highlighted that employees of the internal affairs bodies interact with thousands of citizens daily, and their courtesy during these interactions, along with their ability to find legal solutions to citizens' problems, has a significant impact on the social sentiment of the population and society as a whole.

"From this point forward, our focus will be on training, selecting, and deploying personnel, as well as purging the system of individuals with impure, malicious intentions, who prioritize their own interests over the welfare of the people," declared the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
