Mirziyoyev receives the Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia

Today, June 25, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Kolokolsev, who is visiting Uzbekistan. This was reported by the President's press service.

At the beginning of the meeting, President Mirziyoyev expressed his condolences and offered words of encouragement to the family members of the law enforcement officers who died in the recent terrorist attack in Dagestan.

Topical aspects of cooperation in countering terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, and organized crime, as well as cybersecurity and digital expertise, were discussed. In addition, special attention was paid to increasing the effectiveness of cooperation mechanisms in the field of migration.
