The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed condolences on the death of Sunaryo Kartadinata, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the ministry's press service.
"We received the news of the untimely death of Mr. Sunaryo Kartadinata, Ambassador of Indonesia to Uzbekistan, with deep sadness. Mr. Kartadinata was a well-known and experienced diplomat who worked tirelessly for his country and promoted the interests of Indonesia with great professionalism and dedication. His contribution to the strengthening of bilateral relations between our countries is immeasurable. The team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan expresses its condolences to the family members and relatives of the ambassador and to all our Indonesian friends," the ministry said.
For your information, Mr. Kartadinata, who also served as the ambassador to Kyrgyzstan, had been working as the head of the Indonesian representative office in Tashkent since 2019.
