Indonesian ambassador to Uzbekistan passed away

9180Yesterday, on June 13th at 18:30, Sunaryo Kartadinata, who served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, passed away in Tashkent. The Indonesian Embassy announced this on its social media page.
Sunaryo Kartadinata, born in 1950, held a Doctorate in Medical Sciences, served as a professor, and had been the head of Indonesia's diplomatic mission in Tashkent since 2019.
During the pandemic, Sunaryo Kartadinata led Friday prayers inside the Indonesian Embassy to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
