The results of the tender sale, with an initial value of 2 billion soums, held by the Termez State Pedagogical Institute have been canceled. This was reported by the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights.
It was reported that the regional administration of the Surkhandarya region of the Competition Committee received an appeal regarding the tender sale of 2 billion soums held by the Termez State Pedagogical Institute on July 11, 2024.
"In the study conducted by the committee based on the appeal, the Customer (Termez State Pedagogical Institute) conducted a competitive auction for the purchase of furniture for the newly constructed educational building of the institute with an initial cost of 2,002,382,125 soums. In this tender sale, participants from the ordering organization (purchasing commission) ("Stekloplastik" LLC, "Global Tech Prom Service" LLC, "Muhammad Ali Trade Industry Service" LLC, "Farovon-Fayz" JSC, "Neatest" LLC, and "Omad Khamrokh Mezon" LLC) were involved. It was discovered that the relative value of the evaluation criteria for the tender offers presented by these LLCs had not been developed, '' the report stated.
As a result of the review, a case was initiated against the Termez State Pedagogical Institute due to signs of violation of the requirements of Article 29 of the Law on Competition.
Earlier, it was found that cases of violation of the law had occurred in 28 tender sales conducted by the Kosonsoy District Improvement Department of the Namangan region.
