10423A disturbing video has surfaced on social media showing educators at the private kindergarten "Tanzilandiya" in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent mistreating children. In response to the growing concerns, QALAMPIR.UZ reached out to Dilnoza Yusupova, the press secretary of the Children’s Ombudsman, for clarification.
According to official reports, seven parents filed complaints on February 12, alleging that educators at the kindergarten had been verbally and physically abusive toward their children. As a result, authorities initiated legal proceedings against those responsible.
To assess the extent of the injuries, a forensic medical examination has been ordered. Meanwhile, the administration of the preschool institution has terminated the contracts of three educators implicated in the abuse. The case is currently under pre-investigation by the Mirzo Ulugbek district Department of Internal Affairs.
Reports suggest that one concerned parent noticed behavioral changes in their child and decided to investigate. They placed a voice recorder inside their child's toy before sending them back to kindergarten. The eight-hour recording allegedly captured teachers insulting, shouting at, and physically harming the children multiple times.
It was revealed that the abuse mainly took place in areas without security cameras, such as the gym, locker rooms, and activity hall. However, in rooms monitored by parents via surveillance cameras, the teachers behaved appropriately, creating a false sense of security.
This is not the first incident of abuse at a private preschool in Tashkent. On February 21, 2025, at "First Daycare" in the Yunusabad district, it was discovered that teacher S.A. and assistant teacher X.M. had taped a child to a chair as punishment for not eating.
Authorities continue to investigate the "Tanzilandiya" kindergarten case, and parents are calling for stricter regulations and oversight in private preschools to prevent such incidents in the future.
