Utkir Siddikov, a renowned artist and speaker from Uzbekistan, has passed away at the age of 78. Poet Babur Bobomurad announced his demise on his Telegram page.
Throughout his career, Utkir Siddikov conducted over 250 tours across various cities and countries, participating in approximately 8,000 events.
In recent years, Siddikov appeared publicly as a presenter at the concerts of the esteemed Avaz Okhun.
Born in 1945 in Tashkent, Utkir Siddikov graduated from the Drama and Film Acting Department at the Tashkent Institute of Theater and Fine Arts. He commenced his career in the 'Shodlik' singing and dancing ensemble in 1968. In 1996, he was honored with the title of 'Honored Artist of Uzbekistan,' and in 2017, he was awarded the 'Shuhrat' (Fame) medal.
