Uzbek woman falls from hotel balcony in Thailand

8870On December 7, a 25-year-old Uzbek woman fell from the 6th-floor balcony of a hotel in Pattaya, Thailand, suffering severe injuries. The incident was reported by The Pattaya News.
According to reports, the city's rescue center received a call at 12:30 p.m. local time, alerting them that a foreign woman had fallen from a hotel balcony in South Pattaya. Rescue workers and an ambulance promptly arrived at the scene. The woman was found unconscious with a head injury and a broken right leg. After receiving first aid, she was immediately transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
“I was performing my duty when I heard a loud noise and was startled. When I looked towards the street, I saw a woman lying unconscious. I immediately informed the authorities,” said the hotel’s security guard.
Pattaya police discovered that the woman was staying on the 6th floor with two friends. However, attempts to question them were unsuccessful, as both were reportedly intoxicated. The police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the incident.
For context, it is worth noting that a similar incident occurred on November 28 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. A young man born in 2008 tragically died after jumping from the former Chorsu Hotel in the Shaykhontohur district at approximately 7:20 p.m.
