A citizen is caught selling his daughter for 35 million sums in Surkhandarya

A citizen who tried to sell his daughter for 35 million sums was arrested in Angor district of Surkhandarya region. This was reported by the information service of the Regional Internal Affairs Department.
It is noted that a person living in Angor district applied to the district IIB, and I.Z., a resident of this district, born in 1969 informed that he is selling the baby child of his spouse H.S., who has been living together since 2019 on the basis of Sharia marriage, born on July 17, 2023 for 35 million soums.
In connection with this application, on July 19 at 9:00 p.m., the responsible authorities conducted a quick operation and seized the material evidence. At the same time, the documents were drawn up with the participation of impartial people.
On July 22 of this year, a criminal case was initiated against this person under Article 135, Part 3, Clause “a” of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
