Five members of a family succumbed to carbon monoxide poisoning in Surkhandarya

6404Six members of a single family fell victim to carbon monoxide in the Boysun district of Surkhandarya. Hayat Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the General Prosecutor's Office, relayed this information to QALAMPIR.UZ.
The tragedy occurred on February 25 in the Duoba neighborhood of the district. Around 10:30 a.m. that day, J.Kh. and his children J.M. (son, 2013), Sh. M. (girl, 2016), and S.M. (girl, 2018) perished in their sleep due to suffocation.
Additionally, Z.N. (female) born in 1986, and N.M., born in 2008, were rushed to the intensive care unit of the Boysun District Medical Association. Despite medical interventions, the 16-year-old girl passed away today, February 27, at 10:45 a.m. in the district medical association.
"The Boysun district prosecutor's office is investigating this incident," stated Hayat Shamsutdinov.
It's worth recalling that just last month, six members of another family died from carbon monoxide poisoning in Margilon, Fergana region.
