The former deputy minister becomes the district governor

Azizbek Rakhimovich Latifjonov was appointed to the post of governor of the Pakhtaabad district of the Andijan region.  This was reported by the press service under the Andijan regional government.

Before his appointment, Azizbek Rahimovich Latifjonov has been working as the Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Material-Technical and Finance-Economics.

Azizbek Latifjanov was born in 1977 in the Izboskan district of the Andijan region. In 1999, he graduated from the Andijan Institute of Engineering and Economics, and in 2000, he graduated from the Academy of Banking and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

He started his career in 1994 as a cashier at the money exchange office of the Andijan regional branch of the open joint-stock commercial bank "Uzbekistan Industrial-Construction Bank."  In 1999-2017, he was the deputy head of the crediting and analysis department of national economy sectors of the Andijan regional branch of the open joint-stock commercial bank "Industrial Construction Bank of Uzbekistan", in 2001-2003 - the construction complex of the Andijan branch of the bank head of the department of lending to enterprises and organizations, capital financing and technical control, in 2003-2006 - manager of the “Bunyodkor” branch of the open joint-stock commercial bank "Industrial Construction Bank of Uzbekistan", in 2006-2007 - head of the real estate department of the capital construction department of the open joint-stock commercial bank "Industrial-Construction Bank of Uzbekistan."  In 2007, he was the leading specialist of the budget treasury execution in the Department of Methodology, Financial Resources and Accounts Management of the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance, Tashkent city khokimiyat (governance) chief financial department of the republican budget treasury execution department contracts of recipients of funds from the budget worked as a leading economist of the registration department.

In addition, from 2007-2011, he was the head of the department of financial regulation of regional capital construction programs of the Investment Department of the Ministry of Finance, between 2011-2015 he was the deputy head of the investment department of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan - financial regulation of regional capital construction programs.  Head of the Department, 2015-2017 worked as the head of the Investment Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
