The explosion in Syrdarya damaged houses in Kazakhstan

The sound of the explosion that occurred in the military unit of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan in Syrdarya was also heard in the Maqtaarol district of the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan. "Kazinform" gave information about this.

It is noted that the Emergency Situations Commission established in the region is conducting urgent work to determine the presence of damaged social facilities and residential buildings in Jambil, Birlik, Irjar, Yenbekshi Ovul districts, and the town of Atakent.

"Today, an urgent staff meeting was held in the office of the governor of Maqtaaral district. "According to the information provided by the Republic of Uzbekistan, there is no danger for the residents of Maqtaarol district," said the message of the regional communications service of the Turkestan region.

"Sputnik" publication, referring to the representative of the Emergency Situations Department of the Turkestan region, reported that an explosion at a military warehouse in Uzbekistan damaged several houses in neighboring Kazakhstan.

We remind you that today, on 22 October, an explosion occurred in a warehouse of a military unit in the Malik settlement of the Sirdarya region.  According to MH, 16 people were injured in the incident.
