Legal violations discovered in Sirdarya’s 37 billion state procurement

Instances of legal violations have been identified in state procurements exceeding 37 billion sums conducted by entities under the Sirdarya Regional Road Administration. This was reported by the Competition Committee.
According to the report, inspections were conducted from March to July of this year by the Sirdarya Regional Office of the Competition Committee regarding compliance with the laws "On Competition" and "On State Procurements" of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as other relevant regulatory documents, within the entities of the Sirdarya Regional Road Administration.
As a result of these inspections, it was determined that 67 procurements, each with an initial value exceeding 37 billion sums, violated the requirements of the laws "On Competition" and "On State Procurements" of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that appropriate measures have been taken by the regional administration in relation to the entities of the Sirdarya Regional Road Administration where violations were identified, including mandatory corrective actions and instructions.
