First deputy governor was appointed in Syrdarya region

Abdurahim Umarov has been appointed as the first deputy governor of the Syrdarya region, according to an announcement by the regional government.

Rahimjon Boboyev has been relieved of his duties as the first deputy governor responsible for finance, economy, and poverty alleviation, as he has moved to a different position. Abdurahim Abdulhamidovich Umarov has been named as his replacement.

Born in 1985 in Saykhunobod district of the region, Abdurahim Umarov graduated from Gulistan State University in 2008. Throughout his career, he has held various significant roles in the Syrdarya regional branch of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank. Prior to this appointment, he served as the branch's head.

It is noteworthy that on March 5, Jamoliddin Khojimanov, who previously served as the first deputy mayor of Chilonzor district in Tashkent, was appointed as the new mayor of Gulistan, Syrdarya region
