Sherzod Qudbiyev returns to the Tax Committee

By the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Qudbiyev was appointed to the position of the chairman of the Tax Committee under the Cabinet of Ministers.  This was announced by the press secretary of the President, Sherzod Asadov.

In this regard, Sherzod Qudbiyev was released from the post of Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

We remind you that on December 30, 2022, Sherzod Davlatovich Kudbiyev was appointed to the position of Minister of Economy and Finance.  Before that, he was the chairman of the Tax Committee.  During his tenure as the chairman of the committee, he was also assigned the role of rector of the Fiscal Institute.

He was also elected as the chairman of the table tennis federation of Uzbekistan on April 25, 2022.  Sherzod Qudbiyev was strictly warned by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on September 19, 2022.

In the middle of October 2020, an audio recording of Sherzod Qudbiyev, the Chairman of the Social Security Administration, insulting an employee, angry that the amount of overpaid VAT to a businessman was not returned on time, and his account number was closed, was circulated on social networks and caused discussions.  The chairman of the committee admitted that the words in the audio recording belonged to him, but it was not reported that any action was taken in this regard.
