32413Earlier, it was reported that a 13-year-old boy in Sirdarya was slapped by a seller for asking for a QR code receipt. The boy was invited to the Uzbekistan Tax Committee. A video of the event has spread on social media.
In the video, the Chairman of the Tax Committee, Sherzod Qudbiyev, is seen telling 13-year-old Shahboz that "even if the entire central apparatus of the tax system stood up, it would be worth it" due to his actions.
The committee chairman thanked the boy’s parents and emphasized that Shahboz did the right thing by asking for a receipt in the store.
“Many people think asking for a receipt is a trivial matter. No, it is not trivial. Behind your single receipt – behind your request – there are kindergartens, schools, roads, salaries, and the budget in Sirdarya. There are significant things at stake. Therefore, I am grateful to you, Shahboz. Thank you very much,” said Qudbiyev.
It should be noted that earlier, it was reported that administrative proceedings had been initiated against the seller who slapped the boy.
