Shavkat Umurzakov allocated nearly 8 billion sums for planting flowers in the capital

7 billion 920 million sums were allocated for the purchase of flower seedlings in the city of Tashkent.  The decision of the capital's mayor Shavkat Umurzakov was adopted.

 It is noted that this amount will be allocated from the funds of the reserve fund of the local budget of the city of Tashkent.

"A total of 7,920.0 million (seven billion nine hundred and twenty million) for the expenses related to the purchase of flower seedlings to the specialized departments and districts in the system of the General Department of Improvement of the system of the General Department of Improvement from the funds of the reserve fund of the local budget of the city of Tashkent to distribute funds in the amount of sums", the decision reads.

Part of the funds was distributed to the improvement departments of the capital districts.  including:

 
Also, the remaining amount of 5.2 billion sums was transferred to the Specialized Departments of the Tashkent City Improvement Department.
 
Let's remind you that in February of this year, a bunch of saplings was bought in Andijan for about 700 million sums.
