Shavkat Mirziyoyev went to Kyrgyzstan

Today, on 26 January, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for this country on a state visit at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Sadir Japarov.  This was reported by the President’s press service.

At the high-level talks, issues of further strengthening friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership relations, development of mutual trade, support of industrial cooperation, promotion of regional infrastructure projects will be discussed.

During the visit, the adoption of a strong set of bilateral agreements is planned.  

It should be recalled that the “Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan” business forum was organized in Bishkek as part of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan.  A set of solid agreements with a total value of more than 1.6 billion dollars was signed in chemistry, electrical engineering, automobile industry, textile industry, agriculture, production of building materials, leather goods and other fields.
