8620The body of a 19-year-old man from Uzbekistan was discovered in an apartment on Peyzaj Street in St. Petersburg, Russia, as reported by "Fontanka."
According to the publication, the deceased had suffered an injury to the heart area. The incident occurred on October 27 after 12:00 local time. The young man, originally from Tashkent, had recently received a Russian passport shortly after turning 18. A 20-year-old woman from St. Petersburg was also present in the apartment at the time. She informed law enforcement that they had rented the apartment on October 26 and spent the evening drinking alcohol and discussing their future plans. She claimed that she did not live with the young man.
The girl's mother confirmed the incident but declined to provide further details.
It was revealed that the girl had previously run away from home in 2019 when she was 15 years old and was listed as a missing person by the police. She repeated this behavior in 2020 and may have been working in a restaurant in the Primorsky district, known for serving European, Russian, Eastern, and Japanese cuisine.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident. It is worth noting that there was a prior report of a 15-year-old boy from Uzbekistan stabbing a 42-year-old compatriot in St. Petersburg.
