Uzbek citizen shot in Russia

On January 17, a 19-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan was shot in the city of Kudrovo, located in the Leningrad region of Russia. "Channel 5" reported the incident.
According to the report, the shooting occurred in the evening near a grocery store on Builders' Avenue in Kudrovo. The unknown assailant shot the Uzbek national in the neck.
Following the attack, the victim was rushed to a hospital in St. Petersburg with a bullet wound to the neck.
"The victim was placed in the operating room in critical condition," the report stated.
He also suffered a head injury, with bruising to the right parietal region. A bullet was located in his neck. The victim was immediately transferred to Alexander Hospital, where he is being treated.
An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
It’s worth noting that this follows a tragic event earlier in January, when an Uzbek worker fell from the 16th floor of a construction site in St. Petersburg and died. The incident occurred on January 13 at a residential complex under construction.
