Fire breaks out at Samarkand Institute of Architecture and Construction

On October 1, a fire erupted at the Samarkand State Institute of Architecture and Construction, located in the Samarkand region. The regional emergency department provided the information.
The fire was reported at 23:45, originating in the hall of activists, an unfinished construction on Lolazor Street. Six fire rescue crews were dispatched, arriving at the scene by 23:54. The blaze was completely extinguished by 00:30.
The fire damaged old construction materials, but no injuries or fatalities were reported.
"Investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of the fire" the report states.
This follows another incident on September 30, when a fire broke out at the Tashkent State Agrarian University in the Qibray district of Tashkent region.
