Reports emerge of school principal playing cards and vice principal beating a girl student

Reports have surfaced on social media showing a school principal playing cards and a vice principal physically disciplining a female student. The Information Service of the Department of Preschool and School Education of the Samarkand region has responded to this situation.

The incident reportedly took place at School No. 8 in the Pakhtachi district.

One of the videos shows the vice principal, a woman, beating a student, while another video captures the school principal playing cards with several acquaintances.

"Currently, the situation is under the control of the Regional Preschool and School Education Department, and it has been referred to the appropriate authorities for further investigation. Detailed information regarding the results of this investigation will be provided," the statement concludes.

It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred earlier at School No. 187 in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent city, where several students were found playing cards during a lesson. In response, the school administration, along with internal affairs staff, a psychologist, the students, and their parents, conducted preventive and explanatory discussions. Additionally, fines were imposed on the parents of the students involved, in accordance with Article 47 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. The students who recorded the incident were transferred to another school at the end of the school year.
