Forty-two-year-old citizen drowns in river in Samarkand

A citizen born in 1984 fell into the Qoradaryo River in Oqdaryo district of Samarkand region. The regional Emergency Situations Department reported this.
It was reported that on June 28 this year, the Samarkand Regional Emergency Situations Department received a report that J.O., born in 1984 and a resident of the Olti Qahramon mahalla in Pastdargom district, had fallen into the Qoradaryo River, which flows through the Istiqlol mahalla of Oqdaryo district, due to carelessness.
It was reported that rescuers from the Samarkand Regional Emergency Situations Department are currently carrying out continuous search and rescue operations in the river area.
Earlier, it was reported that a 17-year-old boy drowned while swimming in the Shohrud canal in Kogon district of Bukhara region.
