Accident between a Nexia 3 and a truck occurs in Samarkand, resulting in casualties

On June 15, two individuals lost their lives in an accident involving a Nexia 3 and a truck in the Samarkand region, according to the Regional Traffic Safety Department.
The accident happened at 12:10 PM at the 61st kilometer mark of the M-37 "Samarkand-Bukhara-Turkmanboshi" highway, in the "Qirqyigit" neighborhood of Ishtikhon district. The Nexia 3 collided with the rear of an "ISUZU NQR 71 PL" truck parked on the right side of the road.
The passenger in the front seat of the Nexia 3 died at the scene, while the backseat passenger succumbed to injuries in the intensive care unit of the district central hospital.
"A criminal case has been opened by the investigation department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Samarkand region, and preliminary investigations are underway," the report stated.
Previously, it was reported that 29 people were involved in traffic accidents in the capital city of Tashkent from January to May this year.
