Bus collision with tractor-trailer in Samarkand leaves passenger injured

On October 30, a Yutong bus collided with a tractor-trailer in the Narpay district of the Samarkand region, resulting in injuries to a passenger. The incident occurred at approximately 21:00 on the 115th kilometer of the M-37 Samarkand-Bukhara-Turkmanbashi highway, specifically in the "Didan" neighborhood area of the Narpay district, according to reports from the regional Road Traffic Safety Information Service.

The driver of the Yutong bus, which operates on the Samarkand-Bukhara route, was reportedly turning from a designated section of the road when he struck the trailer of a TTZ 80.1 tractor traveling in the same direction.

The collision led to injuries for one passenger, who was subsequently hospitalized for treatment.

Following the incident, the district's Department of Internal Affairs Road Safety Division has initiated a preliminary investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the collision.

This incident follows a previous accident on October 3 in the Samarkand region, where a Tracker vehicle, a Nexia-2, and a tractor-trailer were involved in a collision, resulting in injuries to the driver of the Nexia-2.
