Authorities in Samarkand have uncovered illegal electricity usage that led to a loss of 5.5 billion soums, according to "Uzenergoinspeksiya." The damage resulted from three violations in the region.
The "S.Sh.O." farm, located in the Toylok district, was found to have failed to make accurate calculations for the electricity used under a differentiated tariff, leading to a loss of 4 billion 637 million soums for the electricity supplier.
Additionally, two companies, "P.A.O." LLC and "P.M.W." LLC, were also found to have neglected proper billing under the differentiated tariff, resulting in losses of 537.7 million soums and 371.3 million soums, respectively.
Documents related to these violations have been submitted to law enforcement agencies for further investigation.
This case follows a similar incident in Tashkent, where a metal processing plant was caught illegally using 26.9 billion soums worth of electricity.
