In Samarkand, over 10,000 bottles of unusable vodka were discovered

3601A total of 10,202 pieces of alcoholic products deemed unsuitable for consumption were seized as material evidence from three shops in the Samarkand region. This information was reported by the press service of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office.
It was noted that the salespersons identified as "M.B.", "Y.S.", and "I." were caught selling counterfeit excise-branded alcoholic products. These individuals, who were associated with LLCs operating the shops, had sold a total of 10,202 pieces of defective alcoholic products with a combined value of 334 million sums. These items were confiscated as physical evidence.
Criminal cases have been initiated in accordance with the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and investigations are currently underway.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, 1.6 billion sums worth of worthless alcoholic products were discovered at an oil shop in Andijan.
