Heating season is set to begin in Samarkand on November 1

The heating season in the Samarkand region is scheduled to commence tomorrow, November 1, following the signing of a relevant decree by regional governor Erkinjon Turdimov today, October 31.

The decree mandates that the administrations of Samarkand city and its districts, along with social sector organizations and communal enterprises, establish round-the-clock staff starting November 1. This measure aims to ensure a smooth and continuous supply of natural gas and electricity to social sector facilities and residential homes throughout the region.

Additionally, the order emphasizes the importance of providing a stable supply of natural gas to heating boilers operated by the state unitary enterprise "Heat Source," as well as arranging for liquefied gas supply to areas lacking access to natural gas.

This announcement follows a similar order from Ulugbek Kasimov, the governor of the Surkhandarya region, who also announced the start of the heating season in his area on November 1.
