The Ministry of Justice submitted the state registration document for “Samarkand Pea Soup” to the acting governor of the Samarkand region, Adiz Boboyev.

A geographical indication is an intellectual property designation that highlights the uniqueness of a product tied to a specific region, reflecting its quality, reputation, or other characteristics influenced by natural, human, and historical factors of that area.
