On March 16, a formidable fire ignited in Tashkent, as reported by the Emergency Situations Department of the city.
Around 00:25, authorities received notification of a fire at 26 First Red Stamp Street, the site of the "Samarkand darvoza" neighborhood assembly. Four fire rescue teams arrived at the location by 00:30, successfully containing the fire by 00:48, with complete elimination of the disaster by 01:01.
The fire engulfed 120 square meters of a cafe and a household goods store roof, while 50 square meters of the structure remained intact. Additionally, two adjacent houses suffered significant damage, although no casualties were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
It is worth noting that a previous report detailed a separate fire incident near a school kitchen in the Oltinkol district of the Andijan region.
