Saida Mirziyoyeva meets with Jamieson Greer

Today, June 25, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva met with U.S. Trade Representative and Ambassador Jamieson Greer. Saida Mirziyoyeva announced this on her Telegram channel.

“Over the past year, we have done very substantial work together, as a result of which our relations have reached a new stage,” the Head of the Presidential Administration said.

According to her, an agreement on stimulating mutual trade and investment is expected to be signed in the coming days.

“I thank Mr. Ambassador for the great attention he is paying to Uzbekistan and to our bilateral cooperation,” Saida Mirziyoyeva said.

For reference, Saida Mirziyoyeva also met with Jamieson Greer during her visit to the United States in April this year. At that time, the sides discussed the growing interest of American investors in Uzbekistan. It was also reported that work was underway on agreements regulating bilateral trade relations on a mutually beneficial basis.

Earlier, it was reported that President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had received Jamieson Greer.
