Saida Mirziyoyeva meets Kyrgyz counterpart in Bishkek

On August 20, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan and eldest daughter of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, met in Bishkek with Odilbek Kosimaliev, Head of the Presidential Administration and Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan. Mirziyoyeva reported the meeting on her Telegram channel.

“The most important thing that unites our countries is a common aspiration to strengthen cooperation and good neighborliness in the region,” Mirziyoyeva wrote.

She emphasized that Central Asia is a shared home where neighbors support each other, noting that this unity was made possible thanks to the wise policies of regional leaders.

“Open borders, joint economic projects, resolving water use issues — we have a lot of common topics,” she added.

Mirziyoyeva also announced that the Presidential Administrations agreed to work closely to fully implement the agreements reached by the Presidents of the two countries.

Earlier, it was reported that during her trip to Bishkek, Saida Mirziyoyeva was received by Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov. The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, including ways to strengthen cultural, humanitarian, and educational ties.
