Saida Mirziyoyeva highlights diplomatic ties at U.S. Embassy event

On May 2, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan and eldest daughter of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, participated in a ceremonial reception held at the U.S. Embassy in honor of Independence Day. She shared details of the event on her social media account.

Photos from the event show that Mirziyoyeva was accompanied by her son, Miromon Tursunov, and Nozima Davlatova, a department head at the Presidential Administration. Additionally, Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister, Abdulla Aripov, was also in attendance.

"I firmly believe that the friendship and partnership between our countries will continue to strengthen on the basis of mutual respect and shared interests," Mirziyoyeva wrote.

Earlier, on February 12, Mirziyoyeva met with Jonathan Henick, the U.S. Ambassador to Uzbekistan, where they discussed developing mutually beneficial cooperation in light of the rapid changes in global affairs.
