22-year-old actress Sabrina Jabborova, who was hit by a car while filming a music video for Ozoda Nursaidova's song "Dilbarim", will undergo surgery in Turkey. The actress announced this on her Instagram page.

A video posted on social media shows singers Ozoda Nursaidova and Munisa Rizaeva visiting Sabrina.

"For three days, the entire people of Uzbekistan have been worried about me and have been sending money to my account for my treatment. I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone. Tomorrow, my mother and I will fly to Turkey, where a Turkish professor will operate on me. After an examination, they will determine the total cost of the surgery. All expenses are being covered by the money people have donated," said Sabrina Jabborova.

Ozoda Nursaidova apologized to Sabrina, admitting she was previously unaware of the full extent of her injuries.

“Until now, I didn’t know many details. I only found out after the video went viral that her leg ended up being 7 centimeters shorter after the operation. Initially, I was happy to hear she was undergoing rehabilitation. I know this is not an excuse, but now that I have met with her in person, I sincerely apologize for not being fully informed. Sabrina will have to undergo a complex, multi-stage surgery. I am deeply grateful to our people for their support, and I hope she overcomes this difficult challenge,” said Ozoda Nursaidova.

Munisa Rizaeva also spoke about efforts to find a doctor in Turkey for the actress.

“They told us that there aren’t many specialists in Turkey for such a case, but they recommended bringing in a professor. We then shared Sabrina’s account details on our social media pages, and many people contributed whatever they could. A significant amount has now been collected. With that money, we purchased plane tickets to Turkey, rented an apartment in Istanbul, and consulted doctors. If someone could sponsor Sabrina’s treatment and help her further, we would be immensely grateful,” said Munisa Rizaeva.

It is worth recalling that, according to the actress’s statement, she was run over twice by a car during the accident, resulting in a fractured pelvis and severe internal injuries. Although a nine-hour surgery saved her life, a poorly executed procedure left her left leg 7 cm longer than her right, leaving her disabled.

Doctors now say that in order to restore her ability to walk, her pelvis needs to be broken and realigned—an extremely difficult procedure with a low success rate. The actress also stated that the organizers of the video shoot and other responsible parties provided minimal support. For only four months, they paid a $500 fine for violating filming safety regulations.

A court case has been initiated regarding the incident, but the trial has yet to begin. Jabborova claims the investigator has not provided her with case materials. She also mentioned that she will need another surgery abroad to regain normal mobility and has appealed to the public for financial assistance.

Following this, the creative team involved in Ozoda Nursaidova’s music video responded, alleging that the actress and her family have been demanding a house and a car from them.

After four months of silence, the Tashkent City Police Department finally issued a statement on the incident, following widespread public discussion on social media. The department reported that on November 7, 2024, at approximately 1:00 p.m., in a parking lot on Yangi Uzbek Street in the Mirzo Ulugbek District, a minor, S.P. (born in 2008), was driving a Mercedes-Benz when he hit two pedestrians—J.S. (born in 2003) and Sh.E. (born in 2006).
