Ruslanbek Davletov appointed Presidential Advisor on civil society and youth

Ruslanbek Kuroltoevich Davletov has been appointed as Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on matters related to representative bodies, non-governmental non-profit organizations, religion, and youth. The announcement was made by Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov.
In connection with the new appointment, Davletov has been relieved of his previous role as Advisor to the President on socio-political, religious-enlightenment, and youth issues.
For reference, Ruslanbek Davletov was born on June 1, 1980, in the Shovot district of the Khorezm region. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom in 2001, followed by a master's degree from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in 2003. He later graduated from the Tashkent State University of Economics in 2007 and the Academy of State and Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2010.
Davletov began his career in 2001 as a leading specialist at the State Committee for Demolopolization and Development of Competition. He later served as a chief specialist and acting department head within the same committee. From 2004 to 2012, he worked as a chief specialist in the Department of Legal Expertise and International Treaties of the Cabinet of Ministers. Between 2012 and 2014, he held the positions of deputy director and acting director at the Research Center for Democratization and Liberalization of Judicial Legislation under the Supreme Court.
From 2014 to 2016, Davletov led the Department for Coordination with the Senate and Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and the Service for Cooperation with Political and Public Organizations within the Presidential Office. From September 2016 to January 2017, he served as First Deputy Minister of Justice.
On January 4, 2017, he was appointed First Deputy State Advisor to the President for Coordination of Work with Appeals from Individuals and Legal Entities. Later that year, on September 14, he became the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On November 15, 2022, Davletov was appointed Advisor to the President on Socio-Political Development and was relieved of his post as Minister of Justice. In December 2024, he became Advisor on Socio-Political, Religious-Enlightenment, and Youth Issues. With his latest appointment, he has now transitioned to the new advisory role focusing on civil society, religious affairs, and youth engagement.
