Three Uzbek migrants were reportedly forced to work at a concrete plant in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk announced this incident.

According to the report, the Consulate General, in coordination with the Novosibirsk Office of the Migration Agency and the Uzbek diaspora organization in Krasnoyarsk Territory, made contact with the affected individuals. The victims, identified as 22-year-old J.K., 25-year-old T.A., and 19-year-old X.A., stated that they were coerced into labor at the concrete plant.

The migrants have filed complaints with the local police department to seek protection of their legal rights and interests.

“The situation remains under the control of the Consulate General, and efforts are ongoing with the relevant authorities in the Russian Federation,” the Consulate General stated.
