Uzbek man gets arrested for sexually assaulting minors in Russia

An Uzbek man who committed sexual acts against minor boys and girls was arrested in Kansk, Russia. This was announced today, May 20, by the Main Investigation Department of the Russian Investigative Committee for Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia.

It is noted that on May 17 of this year, a 33-year-old Uzbek man was drunk and noticed children near the house. In order to satisfy his sexual needs, he committed indecent and sexual acts against girls aged 11 and 14 and a boy aged 13.

The man was arrested in the city of Kansk as a result of the quick investigation carried out by the General Directorate of Investigation and police officers. During the investigation, it was also established that the defendant was illegally staying in the territory of the Russian Federation.

"He is suspected of having committed the crimes provided for in Article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (other acts of a sexual nature against a person under the age of 14 using the victim's helpless state), part 4, point "b" and part 3 of Article 135 (perverse acts) ", the message says.

Currently, a precautionary measure of detention is being used against a man from Uzbekistan.
