In Russia, an Uzbek man stabbed an elderly woman 23 times with a knife, as reported by Komsomolskaya Pravda.
The crime occurred on November 20, 2023, at the entrance of a house on Dimitrov Street, Dimitrovgrad, Ulyanovsk Region. A drunken Uzbek man followed the victim into the entrance of an apartment building, attacked the elderly woman, and stabbed her 23 times.
The accused also fled with the victim's property. The woman died at the scene.
The man's identity was confirmed by cameras installed at the entrance. During a search of the Uzbek citizen's residence, stolen items were found.
"The man was detained during the investigation. The criminal case has now been handed over to the court," the report stated.
