Uzbek man dies after falling from a construction site in Russia

An Uzbek construction worker fell from a height of ten meters while performing installation work in the Nevsky district of St. Petersburg. He died at the scene due to his injuries, as reported by "Neva Today."

The incident occurred on June 21 at 1:30 p.m. According to preliminary information, the 36-year-old Uzbek man fell during assembly work and succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

The police are considering opening a criminal case for violation of safety regulations in construction or related works in response to this incident.

Previously, Russian security forces detained 45 labor migrants from Uzbekistan.
