An Uzbek citizen who suffered severe injuries in Vladivostok, Russia, has been repatriated to Uzbekistan. This information was reported by “Dunyo.”
It is noted that a resident of the Samarkand region applied, stating that his son, S.G., had sustained serious injuries in an accident and was hospitalized in Vladivostok's Clinical Hospital No. 2. The applicant mentioned that there were insufficient funds for medications and requested practical assistance for his son’s return to Uzbekistan.
S.G. had temporarily traveled to the Khabarovsk region of Russia in 2023 for employment. However, in October 2024, while in Birobidzhan, he fell from a tree due to carelessness, fracturing his cervical spine. He underwent surgery at Birobidzhan Central Hospital and received inpatient treatment.
Despite this, the father was dissatisfied with his son's recovery progress at Birobidzhan Central Hospital and transferred him to Vladivostok’s Clinical Hospital No. 2. There, doctors recommended another operation. However, due to insufficient funds for the surgery, the family decided to continue the treatment in Uzbekistan.
On March 5, 2025, a plane ticket for the Vladivostok-Tashkent flight was purchased for the patient, and he was accompanied home to reunite with his family.
It should be recalled that, with the assistance of Uzbekistan’s Consulate General in Vladivostok, an Uzbek citizen in financial difficulty, along with their two minor children, was repatriated from Russia’s Primorsky region.
