3488Fourteen minor citizens of Uzbekistan, whose parents and legal guardians were not present in Russia, have been returned to their home country. The "Dunyo" agency reported this.
Representatives from the Consulate General, in collaboration with the Ministries of Internal Affairs and Health of Uzbekistan and the staff responsible for temporary care and custody of minors in St. Petersburg, facilitated the return of these children, who needed social protection.
Most of the children's parents had been expelled from Russia previously due to violations of the country's immigration regulations. Certificates for their return were issued by the Consulate General and handed over to the appropriate officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
"The St. Petersburg state budget organization expressed special gratitude to the care center for orphans and children left without parental care for their support and close cooperation with the Uzbek children," the report said.
We remind you that a group of Uzbek children who had been neglected in Russia were recently returned to their country.
